In Memory of Sue
We are saddened about the passing of Sue Staves, a participant in DETERMINED and the WRAP study, due to COVID-19. Sue was the daughter of Doren and Irene Daniels. She was a kind and loving daughter, mother, grandmother and wife. She left her mark on the community in Spooner through her work at the United Methodist Church. We are thinking of the entire Daniels family during this difficult time and send our deepest condolences.
DETERMINED is an Official Selection in the Raw Science Film Festival which is scheduled to take place the first week of February in Los Angeles. Raw Science founder Keri Kukral interviewed Karen McElwee and Gina Green-Harris (participants in the film), along with film director Melissa Godoy and producer Therese Barry-Tanner. The interview focuses on the community work Gina and her team do in the Milwaukee office of the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute to support research on Alzheimer’s disease in a safe, supportive and innovative way.
