Did you know...
• More than 100,000 Wisconsinites and over 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s.
• By 2050 this disease could rise as high as 16 million.
• Every 66 seconds someone in the US develops the disease.
• 1-3 senior citizens dies with Alzheimer’s disease or another Dementia.
• It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
We Have the Power to Impact the Future of Alzheimer’s disease, and We’re Doing Something About It
EDUCATION
We fund scholarships, educational and training events, Purple Angel and Dementia Friends trainings, and Dementia Resource Guides. We show community members and businesses how to interact, accept, and become a Dementia-friendly community for the greater well being of those who suffer. Education is vital in caring for someone with this disease whether in a care facility or in a home setting.
SUPPORT
The Forget Me Not Fund supports initiatives from Dementia Networks in Brown, Oconto, Oneida, Shawano, Stockbridge Munsee Tribal, and recently Forest and Taylor County. Working together we can keep our fundraising dollars local, helping our own communities.
MEMORY CAFE, BRIDGES & SENSORY PATHS
Your donations stay local – with your help, we are able to financial support local Memory Cafes & “Bridges” which provide a comfortable, non-judgemental environment to laugh, talk, share, and relax. We also contribute to paths where those with sensory processing issues feel safe exploring their sense without feeling overwhelmed by them.
WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE
Please partner with us by making a donation, attending an event, volunteering, and becoming involved in the larger community in need. Even a small gesture multiplied by many truly does make a difference.

“You know, people get frustrated because their loved ones who have Alzheimer’s, oh, he doesn’t recognize me anymore, how can I recognize this person, if they don’t recognize me? They’re not the same person.
Well, they are the same person, but they’ve got a brain disease. And it’s not their fault they’ve got this disease.”
