The Forget Me Not Fund, Inc. supports caregivers in their educational goals, and training by funding scholarships. Training events and conferences are held throughout the year in our local communities.

Volunteers Make a Difference!

If you are an individual (teen, adult, or senior) or part of a family, team, group of employees or company, please contact Forget Me Not Fund Inc. to see where your skills are needed. Chapters can use your help in the following areas:

  • Special events, such as galas and other fundraisers
  • Walk to End Alzheimer’s
  • Public education and awareness programs
  • Office help
  • Speaking engagements
  • Helpline support calls
  • Advocacy

Join a Dementia Coalition

BROWN COUNTY DEMENTIA FRIENDLY COMMUNITY COALITION 

This coalition is made of passionate individuals from many different business sectors and parts of the community. It includes representatives from ADRC, Green Bay Police Department, hospitals, assisted livings, supportive care agencies, Brown County Parks, and many more! We raise awareness, develop cooperative partnerships, educate, and engage all to create a dementia-friendly community that enhances the quliaty of life. By transforming the community, we promote inclusion, reduce stigma, and instill hope.

Meets 1st Thursday of each month 3:00pm – 4:30pm

THE WOLF RIVER REGION DEMENTIA AND CAREGIVER NETWORK 

Serving Shawano, Menominee and Oconto Counties and the Menominee and Stockbridge-Munsee Tribes. Our mission is to bring together individuals and resources to assist, educate, and empower our communities to improve the quality of life for anyone affected by issues of aging, dementia and/or caregiving. All should have equal access to resources that will achieve this mission regardless of age, race, sex and creed.

Meets bi-monthly on 1st Friday 8:00am – 9:00am

Memory Cafes & Bridges

ENGAGE. ENJOY. RELAX.
A Memory cafe provides a fun, comfortable environment designed for those living with early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Here you can relax, engage, and enjoy the company of others who are on the same journey. Meeting locations rotate each month.

Brown County: 2024 Memory Cafe Schedule of Activities
Brown County – Meets 2nd Tuesday of each month 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Wolf River Region: May-July 2024 Schedule of Activities 
Shawano & Keshena Areas – Meets 2nd Tuesday of each month 1:00pm – 2:-30pm
Oconto County – Meets 3rd Tuesday of each month 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Forest County: Welcome to Bridges
Bi-monthly meetings will provide conversations, fun crafts, games with prizes and a light lunch with beverages. Meets 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month 10:00am – 12:00pm
