Our purpose is to create a path where those with sensory processing issues feel safe exploring their senses without feeling overwhelmed by them. This gentle stimulation of the senses occurs courtesy of plants and features that engage one’s senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and sound. Although this path is designed with those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias in mind, children and adults of other abilities will also benefit. This sensory path is a fun, educational tool that allows everyone who enters it to explore and learn about their senses and nature.
